Title: Why do I have a screw near my tear duct?
Post by: screwsandplates on December 31, 2016, 01:39:52 AM
I had a standard double jaw surgery with impaction and CCW rotation (supposedly). I have a screw right under my left eye socket. Is that normal? I don't feel one on the right side.

I have a screw set up too high after my revision surgery.  My first surgery they were much lower but due to some circumstances, my revision surgeon had to place this set higher. I hate it. I can feel it every morning I put cover up on under my eyes.  It's tender but nothing awful.  Mostly just gives me the heeby jeebies. I am getting them taken out after I pass my year post op mark and my bones look mostly healed.

Attached is my last pano. It's the right set that is up too high.
