its published in a legit journal, so i think it has some credibility.  Id need to read the whole study (methods, discussion etc) before coming to a conclusion

The Australian Dental Journal is NOT going to be a high impact journal so doubt the journal is saying much.

Is a review of literature - not going to be any original research. What abstract states doesn't appear to be very surprising, so probably is a decent chance that what it states it true
