Title: Underbite Surgery Before and After Update Pictures
Post by: sarahxgx on May 17, 2013, 04:01:42 PM
Hey everyone!
It's been a week and 3 days since I had my surgery and just wanted to update you guys on my progress! I know I posted a few days after the surgery in a panic as the swelling clouded my judgement of the final results. Have to say though I'm quite happy with the results now.
Would love your opinions too!

Now:
My first time smiling happily at a camera since I was a child. Words cant express how good it feels.

Side profiles (To me this is the biggest difference. I cant get over how flat the space between my nose and mouth was before.)

Anyone getting this done I cant stress enough how important it is to wait until the swelling goes down enough before you make any judgements!

You look really good! Congratulations on the great results :)

Weird question, but was it hard to not sleep on your jaw/side of your face the week after surgery?

I had upper and lower jaw surgery, and they give you some pretty powerful painkillers/sedatives.  I typically sleep face down, but I just took some pain killer, laid on my back, and blam, coma.
