I was told I have a recessed lower jaw but don't have a recessed maxilla and surgeons told me I won't benefit much from jaw surgery so I am looking at chin wing + ramus implants to improve my jaw and chin. Plus getting jaw surgery will mess up my bite I guess and chin wing doesn't have an effect on your bite from what I have read. I have a rounded chin and am wondering if during a chin wing can I get a wider square chin all by modifying the bone? Thanks and I will appreciate the help. My chin is also weak.

Hi guys thank you for your replies. Can it also change the position of your mandible and give you a wider jaw or just change the mandible position? Thank you.

Please take a look at my older threads instead of asking the same questions over and over again. :-X
