Title: How much would a chin implant help? And is my overbite very noticeable?
Post by: LamarcGasolDridge on May 07, 2017, 08:09:12 AM
In my opinion, my jawline and maxilla are very decent, but I have an overbite and some of my teeth stick out more than others.

My chin is also not protruding, but my race usually doesn't have that feature, so I think it's normal

In the second picture (gray shirt), I am jutting my mandible

The first picture is a much more relaxed position

Would a chin implant, orthodontic braces, or jaw surgery help?

Thank you for your time

I think a sliding genioplasty with some vertical height would suit you well. Avoid chin implants. You could also consider rhino, but this is very tricky for males. Genioplasty, on the other hand, is quite likely to be a success aesthetically, but pick an experienced maxfac.

Why is rhino tricky for males?

Also, would a filler work well?

Often looks unnatural and some surgeons feminize the nose. Revision rates are quite high, so I would only do this with a highly skilled surgeon.

I don't think chin filler does much, I think that's more suited to a final touch up after surgery, like @stupidjaws does to improve angles

I think your incisor teeth protrudes too much. Whats your interincisal angle?

yes they do

I'm not sure what the angle is, but it's probably not good
