Title: Gunson consult
Post by: introspect160 on December 06, 2018, 02:10:32 PM
Hi everyone,

Just wanted to let you know that after seeing three separate oral surgeons in Canada, I have concluded that I wouldn't be able to go into a bi-max ccw surgery with a surgeon in Canada with any degree of confidence that the final result would be stable and aesthetic. I'm open to having my mind changed, but I haven't met or heard of one that will do ccw with downgrafting plus diagnostically assess TMJ health. Have decided to go for a Gunson online consult. Just so everyone knows, it costs $US and is two hours long. I definitely won't be able to afford this surgery right now, but at least I can get a sense of what the ideal surgery would be and start saving up. I'm 34 now, so maybe I can get it done before my 40s.

Can you update please? Gunson is on top of my list.

Is it really only $ for two hours???
I saw other surgeons for a short consult that was not giving me a lot of info for that price.

My online consult was 1hr (20mins FAQ presentation and 40mins with Dr Gunson).

I think I'm going to consult with him as well. I have already had one consult, but have heard mixed things on my surgeons plan and predicted results.

We don't share prices in public. Doing so just raises the prices for all.
I went ahead and modified your posts.
