Title: Now have Facial Lymphedema - 2 years after my LeFort I, BSSO and Gen Tub Adv.

Hi everyone,

So, my Le Fort I Osteotomy, BSSO, and Genial Tubercle Advancement became a nightmare.  I had it done by a world-renowned, top surgeon. 

My jaw is fixed, but I now have Facial Lymphedema, and look like a "bulldog."  No one knows why this is happening....though there are theories...none of them positive...

Any thoughts on this???

Can you be a bit more elaborate about what is going on.

Did these problems come directly after surgery?

Are you claiming the surgeon did a bad job, or is it bad luck? Who performed the surgery?

What was the reason you did jaw surgery?

What have you been told can be done about your problems? Is the surgeon still willing to help you?
