When I look at old photos of myself from + 5 years ago when I was 18/19y old my face is more angular. But i don't see what changed since then (other than hair and maybe my nose a little).
I have high cheekbones and very wide zygos and a mandible that does not flare out at the back. So from the front the chin has almost the same width like the width at the angles but the whole body of the mandible is not narrow. The zygos stick out a lot compared to the mandible.
I have a theory and I wonder what you guys think: The only difference I can think of since then is that my masseter was possibly smaller back then. Now with a bigger masseter my face might have more volume but looks less angular from the front. I really wonder how it would look when I would inject a little botox in the muscle...
Did anyone of you see the same with themself?

i think that definitely could be the case. with masseter hypertrophy you gain width but lose angularity as the masseter is more bulbous and soft than the gonions
