Title: Procedures that give anterior cheekbone projection?
Post by: BurnSoul on January 20, 2025, 07:46:03 PM
I know there are procedures that give lateral like ZSO but I've seen Zygomatic osteotomy (not same name) where they don't use a graft? or at least X rays look like there is no graft and there is a diagonal movement so there is a bit of anterior as well? Hard to tell.

I've been looking for cheekbone procedures that give anterior (forward) projection of the cheeks but I have found nothing with success.
Does anyone know anything about what or who can do a procedure like this?

You'd probably be looking at some type of implant as nobody legit wants to cut that high up just to move those bones forward.

I'd prefere osteotomy. I do know Zygomatic osteotomy gives lateral but I wonder how much anterior if any.
