Am looking for an exhuastive list of OMS in the Midwest who are comfortable with and do revision jaw surgeries?
My specific case needs aggressive CCW rotation with bone grafting. Either inverted-L and CCW rotation with posterior downgrafting.
Also looking for advice on surgeons who refuse to see a patient solely on the premise that they don't do revisions and/or the surgeon simply views the patient as a "liability" only, meaning any type of revision they view that patient as a medical risk to being sued for malpractice.
In my area, Cincinnati, I've seen over 6 OMS in the area who have said your simply liability and they will not see me for a consult because they have there reputation to save. I view this as discrimination, outside the legal ethics of malpractice or weather or not the surgeon has the abilities to undertake a surgery to fix my specific condition. How can they do this when they made no independent evaluation of my case nor seen any cephes, pre-post pictures, pano, cbct scan, bite wings, or vsp ?
