Post by: Moon Pix 1985 on May 08, 2013, 02:32:42 PM
Does anybody know what this is? From reading about it  it appears that it is used to relieve dental crowding but I cant figure out whether or not it is expanding the jaw or something else to achieve this? ???

Scroll down to the section entitled Osteotomy facilitated. The treatment is refferred to as DDO in this link.

Im trying to figure out whether or not it could be used to gently reopen an extraction space to put an implant.
