Future of facial augmentation
« on: May 23, 2015, 08:49:29 AM »
Noticed there's an oral surgeon on the board of epibone who works in NY. I noticed he wrote this paper about the future of facial augmentation. Looks interesting.

I agree I couldn't find any particular work for this guy that interested me, except his involvement with this company. This kind of work takes a long time to do, though, and I viewed the article more as a future directions and survey so I thought it was interesting. What can we expect in 5-10 years sort of thing. Well, we're at 5 I suppose and while we're not there we're definitely closer.

Speaking of interesting papers, here's another one I've found from Dr Wolford about nutritional deficiencies in joint degeneration. I had such poor nutrition during college and just afterwards but it seems I may be on to something in pointing out that TMJ problems are, in part, a nutritional disorder. A/G 1st line treatment seems aimed at that as well. Paleo for the win! :D
