So I had a consult regarding a U shaped osteotomy around my paranasal area. The doctor told me that my canine roots may be too close to the paranasal area and as a result it may be likely the surgery would be unfeasible.

He recommended me alternative bone graft/ implant materials which he said had less risk of erosion of the bone and infection than implants do.

I am doing research on these materials myself that I listed in the title but was also wondering what jawsurgeryforums experts think of them.

He also said if I wanted to know for sure if the surgery is feasible I could do a cbct of my incisor area, is getting this x ray worth the radiation dose?
