I just had my appointment with an orthodontist and he confirmed that I will need braces and surgery to fix my problems. I am set to begin a 4 year course of study, abroad in Israel soon. The school provides health insurance but it doesnt cover pre-existing conditions. I was wondering if it was possible to have my orthodontic treatment with an Israeli orthodontist and then have surgery in the US over one of my breaks? I would need to purchase a US insurance policy that covers orthognathic surgery as I am about to come off my dad's insurance soon. Do you guys think I can make this work, or is it unrealistic?
