Thank you for that. My local surgeon recommends straight MMA for opening up the narrow airways, but I question this from aesthetic point of view. I read on the G/A's website that CCW is superior in this cases as it will not affect the nose/upper lip negatively. So I would prefer the CCW type, although I do not know how common it is. Is there any actual advancement of the maxilla taking place here? Posterior? Really hard to visualize what's happening with this surgery. Also, do you know what is its relation to impaction?
