Change in lower jaw
« on: November 25, 2018, 12:47:38 PM »
What is going on with the before and after for this px, it's listed under rhinoplasty but it's his bimax I'm interested in.
I appreciate that there is a huge improvement in his profile but I think from the front his lower jaw looks much worse but I'm not quite sure why...
Is there a big change in the gonial region due to masseter atrophy during recovery?
Difference in lower jaw posture?
Change in the angle between chin tip and lower ramus?
Any ideas, it seems a pretty drastic change to me.
It's rhinoplasty case 3 (can't post the images as too big)

The maxilla is surely advanced, thats probably what makes the biggest difference. Looking at the jaw line angle it seems like it's maybe rotated CW, no idea actually.
