Can this genioplasty be revised?
« on: July 29, 2024, 10:15:45 PM »
Can this genioplasty be revised? He reduced the height and brought it forward. My lower face looks like a frog, it’s heavy and boxy and masculine. I absolutely hate it. I know there are nerves and it looks like there isn’t much bone left. If I took away the projection (that I hate) would it make it better. It looks awful. Ty

Yeah revising a genio is possible. The big risk is cutting the mentalis muscle a second time.
Millimeters are miles on the face.

Im getting a genio revision in September. However my surgeon will be shaving the chin back instead of making a classic genio cut again. Does this require to cut the mentalis muscle again?

I don't see how it wouldn't. But, you can ask him.
