I have been keeping them together up until now, using my jaw muscles so I hope that hasn't caused any relapse.
I've only read on here that clenching causes relapse but can't find anything on the Internet, the closest thing I found was something saying muscle pull can cause relapse but I took that to mean when the muscles are stretched from the jaws coming foward.

logically thinking about it, If you let your lower jaw relax, the muscles might pull it back to its original position. Keeping your teeth together or slightly together might stop that from happening? Also I just thought of this but, people use botox to help relax muscles, maybe this could be used until you fully heal?
