Hi everyone,
For the past year I have been in Invisalign to align my teeth for surgery. At the end of July, my orthodontist will put on braces and wants me in them for about 6 months to work into a surgical wire. Is this an excessive amount of time? I spoke to someone who is having double jaw at the end of July (currently in Invisalign) and he will only be in braces for a month before surgery to work into a surgical wire. I am having a BSSO and possible split down the middle of the mandible to narrow my lower jaw.
