So I had lower jaw surgery (BSSO) 3 months ago to correct my underbite and crossbite. My surgeon had decided I needed only lower done as he believed nothing was wrong with my upper jaw. At the time I believed him, but now I feel like that I would've benefitted aesthetically from advancing the upper jaw. I feel like I do not have enough tooth show from the side and from the front. I talked to my surgeon about this and he said that he would not have moved my upper jaw more than 1-2mm so I don't know if that 2mm could've made a difference. What do you guys think? Do you think my surgeon made the right call only doing lower, or should he have done upper instead? I have been struggling with this for months now. First picture is before surgery. Following pictures are post op.
