Improved nasal breathing after surgery?
« on: September 04, 2017, 04:55:16 PM »
Ive been mouth breathing when i sleep my entire life and i wake up with a desert mouth every morning, f**king torture. I've had consults with an oral max surgeon and i am a candidate for double jaw surgery. Surgery would be upper jaw impaction 4-5 mm and forward 2, lower jaw moved back around 2 mm. My biggest concern is being able to finally breathe through my nose after jaw surgery, I had a septoplasty but it didnt really help. Will jaw surgery improve my nasal breathing?

I had both jaws advanced. It did help a little, but I'm gonna have a septoplasty in order to help my breathing and sleep apnea even more.
