The ante-face!
Beauty & Success with the Help of a Reverse Facelift
FWIW, Gunson & Arnett also say that the new beauty standard is a bi-projected face.  But then I read a Mexican paper where dental students were asked to evaluate a bunch of faces and euro profiles (recessed) were deemed more beautiful vs mexican profiles (protruded).  Maybe Sailer and G&A have a taste for the exotic.

He still has a badly recessed lower lip and a deep sublabial fold?!

The lower jaw could be further forward. I think it was because the maxilla was brought down that the lower jaw doesn't look quite as strong as it should.

You won't believe this but Haers is actually a former student of Sailer's. Yes, the president of the IAMFS was taught by Sailer.

Taught by a bit of a (and im basing this off that video) weirdo/quack.... fantastic. Doubt instilled in yet another surgeon.

The lips don't look balanced in my opinion. I'd rather have a protruding upper lip than lower lip but it still looks far from perfect.

Not enough projection on both jaws.  Ante-face is where it's at.

i agree ante-face is where it's at. IF you could achieve the sailer look on jaws without his s**tty nose-jobs (his nose-jobs are s**t) and the s**tty lyo-cartilege he puts on the cheekbones you'd have awesoem results. on one of the other threads the work he did on that woman is nothing short of astounding. gave her a new life with that strong chiselled jawbone.

Mommaerts published a paper on ante-face recently, it's on his website, surprised it's not mentioned here. Ante-face is legit, but sailer overdoes it with his patients and tends to give them hyper ante-face. Which is why IMO they look strange.

I couldn't find it on his website. Do you have a link to it?

I've seen that article before, interesting.

I see quite a lot of ante-faces in Belgium and France but it's very rare in England.

That's why it's so important to see how the surgeon behaves when everything does not turn out perfectly.
