Genios definitely have a lengthening effect, though all cases appear to be much improved.

Awesome results in my opinion.   If no functional or airway issues I think it is a great way to go.    Add a little fat or filler in the mid face if needed and get on with living with improved self confidence for many.
Pekay.... You find some great examples out there.
Were those genioplasties using the patients own bone(chin). Or using an implant?

Oh, no wonder.   That is definitely the way to go for genioplasties.    Do you know any of the movements?

bimax jaw surgery + 12mm genio

Doctor: Schendel

I don't know how y'alls view this, but IMO this genio was way too aggressive. If this was bimax advancement, that too prominent chin seems to negate the overall goal.

I disagree absolutely. Maybe a close up pic of just the chin makes it look "too prominent" but it's PERFECT and wouldn't seem overly strong  within the overall context of the face at all. If you look at pics of any model or celebrity who is considered fairly attractive they all have slightly strong chins because it keeps the neck/soft tissue area cleanly articulated and taut. This result is gorgeous.

I would love to see a full face photo. I could very well be way off on this, but this is my chin. Lol. IMO, it's too prominent in this repose position. If she had fuller or more protrusive lips, there would be a little more balance. Just my take  ;)
