My 16 year old daughter is having surgery on December 16th, I think I am taking it harder than her. I don't want to see her in any pain ad just want her to be comfortable. She has to be wired shut for 3 weeks and hoping that time will go fast. She will also have a splint thing in her mouth. Will she be able to tolerate being wired shut for 3 weeks? She will nt be able to eat solid foods for 2 months, I can handle that but it's just the wiring shut really bothers me and will she be able to breath out of her mouth?
