I am 34 and have recently had braces fitted.  My doctor had suggested jaw surgery as I have an overbite and when I smile I am more gums han teeth.  I have always been self conscious about my smile and always avoid getting my photograph taken.  I am getting married next year and so think it would be great to have photos taken without feeling self conscious.  I'm really undecided as feel it is a big step and was just hoping someone could give me some advice or if someone has had a similar experience?  Thanks in advance

its a long procedure so if your serious about it talk to your orthodontist
