This is my first post! I'm very happy to e-meet you guys
I am saving up with a view to get jaw surgery, particularly BSSO and a genioplasy, with some braces to fix my crooked teeth and slight overbite. When I was a kid, I was told by my dentist I'd benefit from surgery, however, my family never took to the idea and it never happened. I'm now in a position to revisit this option. The problem is mainly cosmetic, with some very minor issues with functionality while speaking. I'm unsure if it's related, but I also found out I grind my teeth while I'm asleep, and sometimes wake up with an achy jaw.
For all you in the UK that went private for their procedures, what have your experiences with these sorts of operations? Would you recommend your surgeon? What did you pay?
