Do I need jaw surgery? Class 1 occlusion, but weak chin?
« on: February 18, 2016, 02:01:33 PM »
I've had a "big" nose and a weak chin since about aged 6 or so.

I had perfectly straight teeth when I was 13 (no orthodontics ever), but now at 17 I have mild crowding. I feel this is due to an impacted wisdom tooth pushing my teeth forward?

I still have a perfect Class 1 occlusion, so overall I'm very confused.

Here is my bite:

Here is my current overjet:

Here is my profile with weak chin:

You may also note that my philtrum is not at a great outwards angle. As you can see, my overjet is angled quite forwards so will correcting that give me a less aesthetic philtrum?
