Hi

I'm in big s**t... so big that I may never recover

One surgeon told me I should try to get botox injection in my masseter muscle (to "disable" it) which position has been changed after zygomatic bone reposition with unwanted hypercorrection. The bone and muscle attachment is set 3mm too much outside and a bit too much forward than originally AND ONLY ON ONE SIDE
It should tell us whether misspositioned muscle is a major problem. ..because probably I need zygomatic bone reposition in order to put it in original place. However no surgeon won't do this until I prove it..That's why I was asked to check it with botox.

however the surgeon does not want to say how exactly the botox should be injected.

I met a doctor specialised in botox injection to masseter muscles to treat TMJD
She believes that we can't inject botox in one muscle because it will demolish muscle of mastication relationship  what will make things worse
At the same time she told me, not original position of masseter muscle couldnt't make any problem though

?? for me it's not logic

so taking botox to make muscle much weaker only on one side will cause problem
but changing position of the muscle only on one side is not a problem

WTF
for me that means I need zygomatic reposition even without using botox, because any too big change only on one side will cause TMJD

it's so annoying

She explain herself by pleading her experience. The problem is she never had a patient who has misspositioned zygomatic bone laterally, where upper masseter muscle attachment line has been changed only on one side.
No surgeon, no TMJD specialist, no orthodontist has seen such case :(
I'm the f**king one who is fighting in the battle which cannot win..

I'm done :(  to be the first case (repored) on the world sucks and I will die like the old lady who never got help after surgery complications (the movie I put many months ago)

inconsistent? they straight out lie most of the time and are full of inconsistencies. mostly they just hedge by giving the vagues answers possible or confidently assert something that in "their reality" is the truth. my friend this s**t is a crapshoot.

my life is now crapshoot . one surgeon has damaged my life
the others do not want to restore it on NHS line.

I can't afford the best options and probably I won't

Seriously ;) ?  do you think, I'm stupid and have not considered so simple option ?

I have 4 loans....

Unoficially, I pay back more than I earn actually
i do not know how it's in your country, but here a bank checks how much you earn and how many loans you've taken before you get another one

You care so much, then You can lend me some money :D very good option

....at least a while ago, Poland won 3:2 with Denmark in strange style

Ask the surgeon who ruined your life for money. Try to explain him everything. Show him medical proof (xrays, ct scans and so on). Tell him that it is his fold. Insist. I think he will give you the money for an operation with another surgeon.

I've done it already. He does not give a f**k, even director of the hospital does not answer.

I reported this to Medical Commission but it's probably corrupted
and I consulted with group of lawyers. I gave them all documents and if they think I have chance to win the case, they will help me

The problem is that hypercorrection is obvious, but there is no 100% proof that it's main cause of my agressive TMJD which I never had before surgery. it's just highly likely without good proof as far. Eventually botox test can give something ..but it's a bit tricky thing

but the question is why I got 3mm (laterally) + 1mm(forward) hypercorrection ..3mm is very significant movement when it comes to face
So anyway there is surgical error..
