would having jaw surgery for a 4th time be a bad idea
« on: September 10, 2022, 10:11:51 AM »
ive had jaw surgery  a total of three times. the first time i had a sliding genioplasty with v line surgery. i was left botched. i went for a revision which made thing worse they move my chin even further from my jaw. i saw another surgeon for a sliding genioplasty reversal revision and he reversed my chin half way not fully back. he didnt follow any of my requests. at this time im just so frustrated.  i hate the way my face looks now. my jowls are a million times worse. does having a  sliding genioplasty reversal a fourth time mean im at a high risk for face paralysis?

Not sure, about face paralysis.
How is youre lip competence after the reversal? Do your lips close naturally? Do your lower teeth show in a resting position?

how many mm were reversed?

Also could you provide before/afters. Im pretty sure the change in the jowls is minimal. But I understand that someone who has had several surgeries in this area, in a short time span, can be extremely sensitivite to changes. It might be a good idea to let other neutral people evaluate, if its anything to bother about.

I don't have any before pictures. My lips close naturally. Teeth don't show in resting position.
