Does anyone know if I can request decompensation from any Australian ortho without needed a referral from a surgeon?
Most Aussie orthos do not work with international surgeons (who I am interested in working with) anyways, so I need someone to perform decompensation.
If I can't find anyone, then I will just go through the surgery first route with an international surgeon (perhaps dr Pagnoni or dr cansiz).
I have a class 2 skeletal and class 1 dental profile (compensated previously with braces) but if I can't find an ortho to work with me then id have no choice but to do surgery first. I believe I can still get most of the results of bimax with surgery first if I can get substantial CCWr to rotate the mandible.
