consultations problem
« on: February 09, 2015, 04:36:13 PM »
Hello

I spent already 1500E for consultations and I found 2 surgeons who may operate me
but I have also 2 other options... but all of these will take another 1000-1500E from my budget
but they eventually are my last. no more. because I can't find more which I can afford :)

however I read here some advice that enough number of consultation in not common surgery is good thing
on the second hand it costs a lot.. one consultation in Germany costs 500E a lot just for a consultation

Who has experience with such stupid consultation problem ?
better spend more money to have full knowledge or just stop because it nothing will change

any advice ?

Honestly man, I'd say have enough consultations until you feel comfortable that you've found the right person. Worst feeling is going under the knife and a surgeon messing you up due to poor planning. It's good to get multiple opinions. These kind of surgeries aren't a joke.
