Fat Graft under the eyes
« on: April 18, 2015, 04:51:09 PM »
so, i'm sorry if i posted links, didn't know it wasn't permitted.

I will just attach photos later.

I saw an amazing fat graft result, however this procedure is generally very critiqued.

What are your thoughts about it

That is a good result.

In my case, the fat graft pulled my lower lids down into a round shape.

I would be interested to see what he looks like when smiling - it might not look so good then. Fat grafting can harden and lump up years later (in my case, 1 year was all it took). Plastic surgeons bulls**t about it fat's inability to cause an inflammatory reaction but that's rubbish.

I would suggest Restylane with a very experienced surgeon. These will generate collagen and with repeated touch ups, you'll need less of it.

your experience is basically the general consensus, so i RULED OUT the fat option almost immediately...however, this result is a "real" one and it's remarkable...plus i have the option to get a fat graft for free, so i'm considering it..:
Filler would be awesome, but repeating it all the time??

Atm i have so many fixed expenses per month it's crazy!

thats me guys LOL

My surgeon was Dr Paulo Costa at Hospital da Prelada, Porto, Portugal. Free surgeries by the way.

I had to do 3 fat grafts, because i still did look kinda emaciated after the 2nd one. He wanted to do malar implants but i was scared of the results and opted for a third fat graft.

Your right eye is drooping to the your right. Theres more white showing between the nose and eye. Your eye lid looks slightly elongated in shape. Tbh I didn't notice it until you mention it.

Also his before and after proves that's more support under the eyes(orbital rim and Malar region) improves the eye shape and look.

I have had fat grafts three times under my eyes. It would look good for a month then disappear or sink into the cheeks.
