CAS is not superior, it only helps.
in the meaning if a surgeon manually would give
"perfect" set in 4 of 10 patients manually
using CAS he can achieve 6-7 of 10
that's all
in other words, CAS reduces number of second corrections.
Only example, to give a picture of the problem
but CAS has also another adventages..in midface surgeries including orbitals it can show a surgeon how close he is to optic nerve. So CAS also reduces risk of very bad errors.
it allow to measure orbital volume - what is important!
it's generally for midface surgeries...and once again only helpful tool.
