I am interested in expanding my palate mostly for cosmetic reasons. Been researching and looking up stuff online, the general concept is illustrated here:
I wonder if anyone on here has any experience or useful information regarding the process. I've heard it might be painful, perhaps severly so, are there any major risks?
I've had 4 teeth extracted as a child and I'm left with two half closed holes on my lower arch, I hope to expand these and fill them with fake tooth implants.
I am also wondering if this might influence my face in any other way beside widening my smile, will it also widen the jaw?
