Is there a way to achieve this result?
« on: August 26, 2015, 05:58:44 PM »
Hi everyone,

I'm quite obsessed with this girl's bone structure... especially the chin.
To me her face is ideal and I wanted to know if it was possible to achieve that with surgery (not talking about the nose and lips, just the jaw and chin).
She doesn't have a long face and seems very well propotionned.

EDIT: pics are attached

Is that result possible?

This is me from profile (left pic... unfortunately)

Ya the pics don't work. Upload your pics to http://imgur.com, they will auto resize for you.

i can see the profile. yes absolutely that's possible. might be possible with just  genioplasty if you have no teeth problems. otherwise bi-max.

Sorry, I had to reupload the pics. I've attached them to the original message.

I just wanted to add this one from profile:

"Happy families are all alike; every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way." - Leo Tolstoy

That girl is basically the universal model standard.  Open any catalogue and they all look alike: hight cheekbones, big forward jaws, tall ramus, short upper lip, vertical ramus, horizontally long, vertically short almond-shaped eyes with outer corners ideally higher than the inner corners.  Man or woman.

With some kind of jaw rotation, chin wing, lip lift and maybe zygomatic osteotomy you will get closer to that facial type, but not replicate it.

I' confused and not sure which one you even are!
I can see 3 pics in the OP (head on, 3/4 profile, and standing with hands on hips)
Are any of these you?

And then another pic in your reply number 4 (which I think you said isn't you)

Ok, I think you can't see the one I posted of myself.

<-- this one (I'm the one on the left, the right one is a morphed one)

I think I also need braces. My brother just said that I almost looked like a chimp. He said that my upper lip was way too long and was pulling hard in order to close the mouth. "You should not close your mouth actually..." (that's what he said).

I didn't even ask him anything. :/

I edited a morphed picture of myself. Definitely a shorter lip to nose space would be a plus.

(sorry for the creepy effect on the eyes :s )

I think you are being hard on yourself and siblings can sometimes be the worst!!!!

You have incredibly beautiful lips that women pay big money to emmulate.

In fact, you have many fine and attractive features.

Could some changes to balance in your face make what some would call improvements?  Possibly.     If you never did a thing, you'd still be a pretty woman for a man to have on his arm.

Side note:    This whole looks thing, I think, is even more brutal on women than men.   There is a lot of pressure on women to have a certain look or be a certain size and its a shame as society discards the beauty that is present in so many women which (again just my humble opionion) are God's most beautiful creations.

@Tom2  That picture has been retouched but I appreciate your comments.

@Lazlo  I'm considering the genio but I've been told on this forum to avoid at all costs a sliding genio because it would elongate my face (chin brought downwards). You mean a genio with a silicon implant? Wouldn't that worsen the mentalis strain?
