His work looks amazing. What do you guys think of him? Have you had any experiences? I'm strongly considering flying from the USA to Italy so he can do my surgery. And input would be appreciated.

Are you kidding me?! You're going to fly all the way to Italy based on a bunch of cherry picked before/afters that you saw on the internet?

Before this turns into a pointless discussion, the best and i mean THE BEST surgeons are US based. Don't be fooled by other people's results

Why the best surgeons are US based in your opinion? What are the differencies in training, results etc between european und US surgeons?

screwsandplates....i don't like raffaini. I consulted him, i spoke to him...
Bad doctor, he works all over the place and takes as many patients as he can get. Even if hes super organized...he works in Florence, Milan and parma. He has so many patients. I don't like him at all. Those are the BEST results. Many are much worse.

Fact is; all surgeons have had much worse results than their published pictures.

Ah I see.... Well its quite obvious that any before/afters posted on a surgeon's website are their best or most dramatic results. They have to market themselves, and good work speaks for itself...But IMO yeah no one should have jaw surgery expecting to have such results.

I can say that several jaw surgeons and orthodontists spoke highly to me about Raffaini and his results, however I didn't like his suggestions for me, too much linear advancement that would result in ape like face.
