Turbinate reduction

How many of you lovely individuals have had a turbinate reduction? What was your experience?

I haven't but if you're looking into getting it done. Tread with caution. Google empty nose syndrome (if you haven't already)

I had a turbinoplasty 5.5 weeks ago along with a septoplasty, UPPP, upper and lower jaw advancement and a sliding genioplasty. I have had very little problem with either the turbinoplasty or the septoplasty and it all seems to be healing well. My main reason for the surgery was to treat sleep apnea (I had an underdeveloped jaw), and so far, it seems to have eliminated my need for cpap completely and I am sleeping well. I still have some decreased sensation in both the nose and jaw areas, but I am breathing very well and I believe the surgery to have been successful in that area.
