Surgeries for high cheekbones?
« on: December 31, 2015, 11:40:26 AM »
I have very low cheekbones, it makes my face appear flat. What surgeries would be recommended to fix this? Not sure if this question belongs on this forum but I hope I can get a good response!

I also plan to get double jaw surgery.

Comes with the vertical growth pattern. Sorry but low cheekbones can't be fixed :( Best you could do would be to augment on top of them in a higher location, assuming you have midface hypoplasia to begin with. In that case you'd augment above, which might be ok if you're a girl and if not it'll give you a feminine look. This is not a great problem to have.

How look your zygomatic arcs ? prominent ?
Because, the most professional is zygomatic bone osteotomy (full complex)..... but I do not recommend it.  Too big risks... I had this , because i had flat cheek after overlooked fracture (healed improperly) . It's not very hard surgery, but tricky
