Of these Paul Johnson seems to be very highly rated along with Henri Thuau but I wanted to ask if anyone here has had any experience with any of these, or others not listed.

And in particular can anyone recommend anyone who does surgery with the NHS? (I might make a separate thread for this).

I consulted with Paul Johnson, he's a knowledgable, experienced, honest and a decent guy. The only concern I had was with the planning, it didn't seem to be all that thorough. But had I gone through with it, perhaps he would have done a little more. I ultimately went to the states for my surgery, but had I had it in the UK, he would have been my choice.
