As the subject already states, can an implant (let's say a chin implant) be rejected by the body years after the procedure?

Yes it can. It can also displace, shift, or you may not like how it looks as you age. It's also very easy to remove. Nice thing about implants. Stuff that bone grows into has to be cut or grinded off. It's a feature, not a bug in other words.
