I have 2 pictures side by side in front of me. One is of me at around 7 years old. I have a square, defined jaw, a straight, non-prominent nose, a healthy glowing skin tone & a nice fullness under the eyes combined with no significant asymmetry.
The face 'fits' perfectly, it all melds together. there are traces of minor asymmetry around the chin, this is genetic and it can be accepted.
The other picture of me is at 23. My nose is totally deviated to one side, and one side of the face is further back than the other. The dark circles beneath the eyes are prominent. The chin & jawline blends together - they are both very rounded and short. The lips are pushed together in such a way that they look like a ducks beak.
The entire shape of the face, the sides of it, the bottom of it to the top, is radically different.
Surely this cannot be attributed to genetics, otherwise I would have had this face-shape since birth and would recognise myself in these pictures but I cannot.
Can someone please suggest what's happened?
Thank you.
