What that curve of Spee means ?

Take a look at the attached picture below.
Please tell me, what you know about such curve of Spee ? 
Very bad for TMJs ? or other possible connected issues ?

Curve of the spee is normal, looking at pre modern era skulls they all have curve of the spee present. It's part of our biological design which has been optimized over the history of our species. Orthodontists seem to think they know better and like to see the curve of the spee flattened.

Curve of the spee and malloclusion Are 2 different things. So you can have malloclusion with or without curve of the spee. Most orthodontists think that impacted wisdom teeth are normal and the lack of space for them is an Evolutionary response. In other words most orthodontists are morons.

What is your over bite depth? How is the vertical height of your maxilla? Are your teeth in or near in contact when your teeth are at rest. It sounds like a complex surgery you had my     sympathy with your Situation.


I have no.15 in poor contact 1~4mm, lingual tipping, higher than rhs and its causing me issues.

Its a mess they dont have time to think and understand the problem. I dont know much of tmd Im afraid although i do know that what may appear satisfactory to them can be causing the individual patient a big issue. Malloclusion is a Problem not to be understated but they dont seem to consider the fractions of mm at play as they should.
