We are unable to truly determine the nature of your dentofacial presentation because you cut the photo off at your upper lip. However, it looks like you have a retruded maxilla based on your upper lip curling inward and also you have a retruded chin. I think you need maxillomandibular advancement + ccw although it's hard to tell whether you have a steep mandibular plane or not. Looks that way though.

looks like you need bimax and a small genioplasty

nothing else. You are good looking otherwise.

I'm not very good at this like everyone else here, but your jaws look normal/average....don't even know if bimax would be worth undergoing for what looks like a small change.

I am certainly not an expert, but it seems you may have slight upper/lower jaw recession, but honestly, you are pretty good looking and the risks involved with bimax are probably not worth it in your case. Unless you have functional issues (which is hard to tell without x-rays), I would avoid bimax surgery. I also agree that a sliding genio could be beneficial for you, and having a bigger chin would make your nose look more proportional.

And that would be it to get the desired morph result (at least for my jaw/chin)?

I'm really looking to know exactly what I need. It's just a bimax and a small genioplasty?

(I'm not including the rhinoplasty or adams apple augmentations or fix of nape or neck bulk).

I'm not even sure what bimax does.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Okay I've done some research and I've found out that 'bi-max' means Orthognathic surgery.

Two things, why do I need Orthognathic surgery? It seems like I have nothing wrong with my maxilla (but honestly you'd know more than I would). (Very expensive procedure likely couldn't afford this for awhile).

And second thing, if I am to get anything for my jaw -- would Orthognathic surgery and Genioplasty be it?

I'm trying to look like my morph.

you need to take a proper profile picture, not this 3/4ths view, so we can get a better idea of the relationship of your jaws to the rest of your face

just eyeballing it now, i would say you have slight recession in both jaws.

the recession is really minor.

consider a chin wing or a vertical genioplasty maybe

How is your bite?
Your maxilla is fine, moving it forward is a huge risk because you will possible get a ''chimplook''.

Check attachments.

I've attempted to look for information on the surgery but I can't find much. I've only read a few reviews of the surgery on realself.

It looks like a dangerous surgery. It may even be potentially lethal (I have no clue). But despite that -- yes -- I still do hate my appearance enough to want to undergo the surgery.

Your bite seems ok. If aesthetic bothers you do a chin wing or a genioplasty.

Research ching wing. It would make your mandible more fwd and possibly give you some lateral projection.

Bimax sounds silly unless you have sleep apnea or something. With your maxilla further advancement would result in chimp look as another poster mentioned.

PS- Shave that "beard" off man. You look better in the first clean shaven pic.
