Fat transfer instead of orbital rim implants?

I've had fat multiple times and it doesn't really last.  Try temporary fillers.

Where have you had it? Under eye? Maybe because only a little percentage of the transplanted fat has survived.

I had fat all over my face from under eye, jawline, chin, brow....you get the picture. The under area twice on both eyes and 3 times on one side.
I'm not saying it all goes but it can take a few rounds or more and there could be risks with that.

I wasn't aware that facial implants still always eroded bone. I thought that was very rare. If true, its a shame, I was planning on getting cheek, chin, and jaw implants.

its not that common. I know a lady who had  a silicone implant placed in her chin (supposedly the most active site for erosion) 14 years ago. She recently had bimax and it was taken out. There was no erosion. Shes now unhappy with how it looks (not in line with new jaw) but thats another story.
