Please help, jaw shape
« on: June 18, 2017, 06:00:44 AM »
Dear All,

Is there anyone who could help me with my struggle.
I would like to achieve jaw shape that is seen on the picture on right? The left one is my jaw now.
Which doctor should I turn to and what are the possible complications in surgery like this?

I'm sorry for not posting yet side view of my jaw. I need help to get better pictures of that and I'll upload them later.
I hope this frontal view can provide some information about the problem that has occured.

What kind of surgeries did he perform on your face?

EDIT: Irrelevant question.
What he did is not relevant for suggesting ideas for getting the jaw shape on right.

You could try fillers like macrrolane to augment your jaw angles.

Another option is medpor jaw angle and chin implants. That's the only way. No jaw surgery will give you that result. And you're wasting you time complaining about the surgeon that's old news. All you can do is get implants. No jaw surgery or genioplasty or chin wing will give you that shape. Take that picture to Dr Yaremchuck and get implants, he's the best with implants to get that jaw shape you want. End of story.

Thank you for the suggestion. I appreciate it.
Implants was what I was thinking of... I don't know do I have any room though on my lower face. I'm allready choking big time when laying down....

Are there any implant surgeons in Europe that could do the same work than Dr Yaremchuck?

I'm afraid that since it seems like he flattened my cheekbones too that I need to ge those implanted too to have back the symmetry on my face... I guess same people who can agumen jaw can do cheecks too, right?

(P.S. I know we think differently about complaining about the plastic surgeon who did this. But I think it's better to tell who did what wrong so that other people can choose better than I did... No, I'm not complaining here much but elsewhere.
Boarder passport control person was looking at my passport picture for a long time and she told that jaw is one important area where they look when evaluating is the passport yours... My jaw did not pass... )

I see that you struggle a lot with this and I genuinely hope you can find resolve somehow. But I also have to employ some skepticism as most victims of bad surgery I've encountered on this site were unfair and had a skewed perception of their appearance, or uploaded photographs of themselves where they would manipulate their faces with lighting and different facial expressions.

In fact, I'd go as far as to say that you would be the first patient to get my sympathy in this regard if you were to present me with convincing evidence of a "botched" surgery. The only legitimately botched surgeries are the ones I've seen on TV and half of them were even the fault of the patients themselves.

The angle at which your head is tilted in relation to the camera makes a huge difference in how your face looks. Another factor is the proximity of the subject to the camera which should be at least 2 meters. If it's any closer, you're probably going to distort your features to some extent.
A third factor is lighting, water and the amount of red and yellow tones in your skin and the level of tan you've got going on: The darker, redder, more yellow, and more moist your skin is, the more defined and attractive it will look. This is a concept commonly exploited in weight loss b/a photos and by fitness models.

The photos you've provided lack objectivity: You're many shades darker in the right photo compared to the left. The left photo also has a giant light source coming in from the left. The right one is evenly lit with much less light and only from the front or above.

The two photos were also either not taken from the same distance, or you have positioned your head further from your neck in the left one compared to the right one. This would also distort the appearance of your lower third. The distance between you lips and the tip of your chin is also different in each photo, which tells me that you are tilting your head differently or that the distance to the camera is different.

For anyone to access your results objectively, you have to achieve the same skin tone or at least the same lighting setting that you had in the before photo.

I know this is probably going to offend you, but you have to realize that sometimes it's the people who're saying hurtful things that are telling you the truth and trying to help you, not the ones that just confirm your own beliefs.

I'd lying if I were to say I'm convinced that your claims are true.

I'd lying if I were to say I'm convinced that your claims are true.

Everyone has the right for their opinnion. During the consultation Marten drew an hourglass form on nose of the face illustration on paper. He drew also lines on the jaw angles. I did not request those, thus I did not ask about why he was drawing those during my consultation. I thought it is his way. Sometimes people draw whatever. However those drawings ended up being as defects on my face after the surgery. He also drew the surgical marks on my face on the jaw, nose and close to lips. He did not show those to me but they send pictures me after with the OR report. The marks were nothing like other surgeons draw in my requested surgery. The marks are on where the defects are.

I don't need you to be conviced. I have enough people who are convinced. Marten did it and it is wrong. He did so huge crime that I don't think this mess is possible to get ever fixed...

What you are talking about the pictures is typical what the defence league would say. First comes a simple question and after an answer they tell you how they disbelieve what happened because of all sorts of things. It's all your choice to believe what you want. I do not think I could convince you in any way with any sort of pictures. There would be always something wrong.
But I do have better pictures and I'm going to get better after pictures too which I upload to my blog. People can think whatever but some at least understand that no one would complain without a true reason.

Even you are not convinced. This is what happened and that will never change. My face was indeed ruined by Marten.
But my main question and intention on this thread  was not to talk about what is wrong with the pictures or what Marten did, but to get hints about how to restore my jaw. Lazlo suggested to get implants. I'm going to look for that if I get that far in this life.

Not all of us are supplied with the same visual intelligence, thus some people never notice the delicate nuance changes. Even a few millimeter bone change can have a big impact.

If anyone have suggestions for dorctors in Europe that can cope with this sort of jaw broblem, please let me know.

You still haven't actually outlined what type of surgery you had or what you asked Marten to perform (double jaw+facelift+facial fat removal?). But whatever the case may be, I always recommend Dr. Zarrinbal in Berlin if you're looking to move the bones in your face around, which I assume is the case since you're posting on this forum.

I know he also performs rhinoplasties but whether or not he does fillers and facial implants is unclear to me.

And a side note: My visual intelligence is just fine and you know very well that the photos you uploaded here are incredibly low resolution. They're so low res in fact that I can nearly count the individual pixels. And you expect us to be able to judge the shape and fullness of your jawline and face from these images? Without even showing us the under eye area for reference? Come on now.

Don't expect strangers to understand your issues or know what you look like when you're hiding most of your identity.

People post here pictures and ask how to achieve something and now all of the sudden I'm supposed to explain something else to you very detailed. You wouldn't be asking that if I did not mention my doctors name, if I had just asked that how can I achieve the jaw shape that is on the right and my present shape is on left. I first mentioned his name between () and that was supposed to indicate that it is irrelevant knowledge for my concern/question at this point. But you keep bringing him up.

Lazlo answered my question by suggesting jaw implants by some dr. He put his attention to the relevant and was able to give an answer.
Pixels are irrelevant at this point. The shape is the same even with better pixels. I'm not asking anyone to evaluate my skin pores. My question could be asked with pictures where the jaw line was drawn with a blue pen to a white paper. People who have knowledge know... I know also shapes and I know what they look like from different angles and can sculpt different head shapes from clay etc. However I'm not an expert in any sort of surgery. If I was, I'd know what direction to point a person who asks this topics questions and only shows a frontal view of their jaw with poor quality before/wish2achieve picture. That is why I came here to ask from more knowledgeable people. Someone who knows jaws very well is able to pinpoint that what possibilities there are even from frontal view. And when seeing the side view they are able to narrow down the options. I didn't need any detailed evaluation with measurements and I hope no one thought I was looking for that. I just wanted a slight push to a right direction... Lazlo did that. Would be nice to know an European option too for that.

This forum category by the way is Aesthetics: " People doing jaw surgery for aesthetic reasons, or any aesthetic related questions" thus your assumption for me being here and asking my question is not right assumption.
People discuss here about jaw implants, fat transfers, fillers... etc. Isn't jaw implant surgery a jaw surgery that does not need moving bones around...

Thank you for the doctors name you brought up.

I think we covered everything that there is for you UnderMunch and me to discuss about this matter. Thx!
