Snapping in jaw
« on: August 08, 2017, 06:35:33 PM »
I don't know whether anyone has any advice but I'm eight weeks post op and I have cross elastics on to move my upper jaw left slightly. I was wearing them and started to yawn when something snapped on my right side. It wasn't like a pop that others have described as it was very loud. Now my teeth feel like they're being pulled together by elastics when I'm not wearing them and there's lots of pressure in my face. I can't open my jaw very wide anymore as it feels like something's getting in the way.
Any advice is much appreciated.

I phoned and she said it was probably just an elastic band breaking but it still feels very odd on that side of my face and none of my elastics broke :/
