Thoughts on Fillers?
« on: August 29, 2018, 09:15:31 AM »
Whats your opinion on trying out fillers to get an idea of what an implant or
surgery has the potential to look like?
Assuming the surgeon you visit is an expert on fillers of course...

They're probabaly a relatively cheap way to visualize the changes you're looking into as opposed to having a morph done since they usually don't visualize the front of the patient. You get a real time representation. I'm not all too familiar with fillers but from my understanding is they dissolve and your face reverts back to its previous state. I know they do fillers for chins and apparently jaws? The jaw part is a tad extra for me.

You will never be able to simulate implants with fillers. It is soft, while implants are hard, with sharp edges. Fillers are only good for small corrective stuff, like when there's too much cartillage cut off from the nosebridge. You fill it up with fillers and it looks straight again. But for things like jaw angles, chin etc., it doesn't work.
