I've seen some different figures on what they charge for 1 day hospital stay after jaw surgery, and to me it seems really crazy. I mean, basically it's a hotel stay and a nurse comming in giving some cheap pain kil-lers or antibiotic once in a while. Am I trivializing what's going on after surgery, or how do they motivate to charge as much as they do? Of course they have other kind of backup in case something goes wrong, but the specifications I've seen seems really crazy how much they charge for the pills that can be bought cheap on prescription on your own, and the time the nurse spend on you doesn't seem nearly in proportion to what they charge.
