Easiest way to see my Cone beam CT scan? 3D model
« on: May 04, 2019, 12:05:35 PM »
What's the easiest way to look at my Cone beam CT scan? By that i mean making a 3D model of it to look at and play around with.

I'm currently using Slicer (www.slicer.org) but the program seems to be really slow and unoptimised. It also has a maxfac plugin but i can't figure out how to install it. But i did manage to make a 3D model but rendering is awfully slow to the point that it's unusable.

The office should provide you with a viewer. Typically it comes included on the same usb/disk. Call them and ask for one.

I didn't get anything. The radiologist wasn't keen on sending me the file in the first place. I'm 95% sure he won't bother.

How do you load patient data? All how-to links seem to be dead.

For the people who stumble upon this thread with the same question, RadiANT DICOM viewer is a very easy program.
