Just a follow up. OP mentioned getting a chin implant. Be careful to discuss this with the surgeon regarding the long term stability of this. I had a chin implant, a rather large one, and overtime it eroded the surface of the bone away where the implant met the bone, and recessed a notch into the chin bone approximately 1.5 to 2mm deep. It even appeared on my VSP planning with my prior BiMax surgery.  A sliding Genio is much more stable and reliable.

Are there any complications with a genio after you get the implant removed? There is someone who had terrible outcome with a genio but the patient had a implant for 20 years and it was removed to do a genio.
